The Antioch Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 1st annual Golf Fore Business Day and a chance to win prizes on Friday, June 3rd, 2022.

This year’s event will be held at the Lone Tree Golf and Event Center in Antioch.

My name is Sean Wright, the CEO of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce, and former Mayor of the City of Antioch. Covid-19 has wreaked havoc on our lives, our families, our communities, and our businesses. We recently performed a survey of our business members to find out how they are doing and what we can do to help. We found out that 75% of our small businesses are drastically down in revenue with 20% likely to never reopen. Is it a surprise that their biggest
need is financial help?

As a Chamber that supports the community, we want to create a fund to help businesses during the most unfortunate and demoralizing times. Many of our small business owners are working long hours and are worried about how they can increase revenue to make payroll. Imagine at this point getting hit by criminal behavior that breaks the front window, steals vital tools, or causes unforeseen mayhem that pushes their entrepreneurial dreams to the edge of closing. What if we can help those businesses during these trying times to cover the deductible or donate just enough to make them whole and let them know that somebody cares and wants them to succeed.

Would you be willing to help us create that fund? We are hosting a Business Day of Golf at Lone Tree Golf Course on Friday, June 11th. We would love you to sponsor the event and/or join with your friends to play golf with us on that day, donate items for prizes, or purchase tickets for chances to win some great prizes. Together we can help our local businesses.
