Celebrate Antioch Foundation

The Celebrate Antioch Foundation was created in 2011 after the devastating recession left Antioch City revenues plummeting and unable to continue celebrations for their community and in particular, unable to continue Antioch’s long tradition of a 4th of July celebration and fireworks show.

After a two year absence, a group of Antioch citizens came together in 2011 to volunteer and find a way to raise the necessary monies to privately bring back Antioch’s 4th of July celebration.  Our first ever privately funded 4th of July celebration was a great success on July 4th of 2012 where thousands gathered in downtown Antioch for a fun and safe event with a spectacular fireworks show over the San Joaquin Delta.

In 2013, we became a 501c3 and have continued organizing and raising monies to support a great 4th of July celebration each year.  As revenues have increased for the City of Antioch, they have become our major partner in bringing quality events and celebrations to the residents of our community.  Celebrate Antioch Foundation, now organizes and sponsors 6 large community events each year with four of those events in partnership with Antioch’s downtown merchants.  Besides our 4th of July celebration our other events include the annual Holiday Delites Parade and Tree Lighting, Art and Wine Walk on Mothers Day weekend, Fathers Day Car Show, September Peddlers Faire and in October our annual Beer Crawl and BBQ Cook Off event.

Our mission is to continue to bring safe, fun and family friendly events to the citizens of Antioch.  We know our work improves the quality of life for our community and increases economic vibrancy.
